Students in Mount Wachusett Community Colleges associate degree program in business administration will be guaranteed admission to the baccalaureate business administration program at under a new agreement signed by the presidents of the two institutions.
We both agree that regionalization is important, Fitchburg State President Richard S. Lapidus said. The smoother we can make the transition for our students, the better it is for them. Providing clear pathways makes sense.
This region is really on the cusp of a renaissance in local business, Mount Wachusett Community College President James Vander Hooven said. We need to have opportunities for budding entrepreneurs to have that educational component.
Under terms of the agreement, students in 窪做惇蹋厙s associate degree in business administration program will be guaranteed admission to Fitchburg States online and day school bachelors degree program. The 窪做惇蹋厙 students will have access to an assigned university representative to help answer any questions they have throughout the process. Those students will also be invited to participate in special program-related events on campus such as speakers series while pursuing their associates degrees.
Academic credits earned as part of the required associate program at 窪做惇蹋厙 will be applied towards the Bachelors degree at Fitchburg State University, in alignment with the Mass Transfer Pathway.
